Welcome to the homepage of the Namaste PTO
The Namaste Parent Teacher Organization seeks to support the mission of Namaste Charter School by promoting open and respectful communication between parents and teachers, home and school; supporting and providing celebrations and activities for the Namaste student community; fundraising on behalf of Namaste, and encouraging the involvement of parents, guardians, family members, school staff and students. All teachers, staff, parents, guardians and family members of children enrolled in Namaste Charter School are eligible to become members of the Namaste Parent Teacher Organization. Membership in the organization will be available throughout the school year. Each member is encouraged to make an annual financial pledge of $5 towards the current fundraising goal of the organization.
In the 2009-2010 school year the Namaste PTO raised $5,000 for Middle School classroom furniture. In the 2010-2011 school year the Namaste PTO raised $10,000 for the new Playground and the Science Lab. The Namaste PTO looks forward to another successful fundraising year in the 2011-2012 school year. All PTO meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month after-school.
THE NEXT PTO UPDATE MEETING IS ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH 5:30PM
